For High School - College Age Performers

In this hilarious and outlandish story, the lives of six teenagers from a Canadian chamber choir are cut short in a freak accident aboard a roller coaster. Broadway Licensing’s author-approved High School Editions are carefully curated to be made suitable for student actors and family audiences. These versions soften offensive language and sexual content while maintaining the integrity of the show and preserving the authors’ intent. We are grateful to Broadway Licensing and the show's authors for creating opportunities for student actors to engage with relevant material in an appropriate manner.

AUDITIONS ~ OPEN CALL Sunday, March 9, 6 - 9pm  Auditions will be held at Spotlight Studios, 358 Forest Avenue, Staten Island, NY 10301 

VIDEO SUBMISSIONS ~ If you cannot attend the OPEN CALL, please submit a video audition. Submission deadline is Saturday, March 8, 2025. Please include your headshot & resume. If you do not have a headshot / resume - please include; a recent photo of yourself, your theatre experience, high school / college information & contact information! AUDITION REQUIREMENTS ~ Please prepare a 32 bar cut of a song from the show and have at the ready a short cut of your favorite contemporary musical theatre audition song. Please prepare a one-minute comedic monologue from a published play. Be dressed to move.

SOME INFO: ~ We will be putting together 2 casts ~ Each cast will perform for 2 performances ~ There is no performance stipend ~ There is no participation fee ~ Actors will be responsible for providing some of their costume pieces ~ Actors must provide their own footware. 

REHEARSALS: 6:00 - 10:00pm, June 3, 10, 17, 23, 24, 30 July 1, 2, 6, 7   TECH/DRESS REHEARSALS: 6:00 - 10:00pm, July 9 & 10

PERFORMANCES: July 11 & 12 at 7:00pm, July 12 & 13 at 2:00pm
