John Stewart

John is the Artistic Director & co-founder of Spotlight Theatre Staten Island John is a professional actor, director, choreographer. He is a proud member of Actor's Equity Association & the Stage Directors and Choreographers Society. For 25 years, he served as the Artistic Director of The Weathervane Theatre, a professional repertory theatre in The White Mountains of New Hampshire.

Robert Koutras:

Robert is an alumni of Spotlight Repertory Theatre, having appearing in their productions of Fun Home and Folk Rock Road Trip and Matilda.  He is a New York based actor, writer, and composer.  A proud member of Actor’s Equity Association, he has been seen on stage in New York as well as in plays and musicals in theaters across the United States and internationally.  His own musical, The End, for which he wrote the book, music and lyrics recently had it’s first presentation at the Workshop Theater in Manhattan with more to come.  BFA Ithaca College.


Tina Kenny Jones

Tina is a professional musician, composer, musical director and teacher. Tina has been an inspiring voice & piano teacher to many young Staten Island singers and musicians. Tina and her husband Russ Jones are the founders of the amazing band, Tina Kenny & The Balance. Check out their website: Tina is currently teaching music and music directing at Curtis High School.

Vicki is the Scenic Designer and a co-founder of Spotlight Theatre. She is a gratuate of The Pratt Institute. Vicki is a professional artist, designer and teacher. She has her own custom mural painting company.

Sophia is a Theatre and Education major at Wagner College. She has been working with Spotlight for six years, starting as a young actress in the program. Sophia is now on staff as a teacher, stage manager and assistant director. Some of Sophia's favorite Spotlight roles include; Fiona in Shrek, The Baker's Wife in Into The Woods and Ursula in Little Mermaid. She was last seen dancing up a storm in Spotlight Rep's production of Mamma Mia.

Madison Gattulo

Madison is a New York based actress, artist & playwright. She studies Musical Theater at SUNY New Paltz. She has worked with Spotlight as a counselor, teacher & assistant director since 2017, after experiencing the program first hand as a young performer. Most recently she was seen in Spotlight Rep's production of Fierce Females at The Alice Austin House. Some favorite roles include: Tracy in Hairspray, The Witch in Into The Woods & Rose in Gypsy.

Sal Pavia is a native Staten Islander and a graduate of Wagner College where he earned his Bachelor’s degree in Theatre Performance. He is a New York based actor, director, choreographer and proud member of the Actors’ Equity Association. Sal was a member of the touring companies of Brigadoon and Legally Blonde the Musical, has performed regionally around the nation, and made his off Broadway Debut in My Big Gay Italian Wedding/Funeral.
