SLEEP-AWAY THEATRE CAMP

For performers; ages 14 - 20   

Join us for an action-packed, fun-filled summer camp experience on the shores of beautiful Forest Lake in Averill, Vermont!

Quimby Country

ACTIVITIES:

Our days will be filled with performing arts activities & games, acting & improvisation classes, voice lessons & rehearsal for our CAMP JAM performancel!

Campers will also have the opportunity to enjoy all of the traditional summer camp activities offered at Quimby's: Canoeing, sailing, paddleboarding, swimming, archery, mountain biking, hiking, yoga, arts & crafts and, of course...campfire sing-alongs & s'mores! 

ACCOMMODATIONS:

Campers will stay in single-sex cottages with an adult Spotlight counselor. Maximum: 5 campers per cabin.

All meals will be prepared by the camp chef & will be eaten together in the Dining Hall. Linens provided. Special diets & food allergies can be accomidated.

STAFF:

We will be bringing our Spotlight staff to Vermont. Mary Lee & John will be in place as camp directors as well as Gene & Lilly Devlin, the owners of Quimby's. Spotlight will bring a musical director, counselors & assistants. Quimby Country also provides counselors and teachers for all of the activities they provide. 

FEE:

$150 Registration Fee 

$650 Camp Fee to be paid via check or money order, made payable to: Quimby Country

Includes room, board & all activities.

TRAVEL FEE:

There will be a significant additional cost to cover the professional charter bus that we will hire to transport campers & staff to & from Quimby. The additional transportation fee will be between $150 - $300. This covers bus rental and insurance. We will solidify the amount due once we have our final numbers. The bus fee will be paid directly to the driver at the time of departure. We will leave from Spotlight Studios at 5am on July 27th.

REGISTRATION:

We only have space for 16 campers. Spots will be filled on a first come, first served basis, giving preference to returning campers. A $150 non-refundable registration fee must be paid online & is due at the time of registration and necessary to hold your camper's spot. Registration deadline is March 1. Tuition is due by June 1, 2023.

This is our 4th summer at Quimby Country & we cannot wait to return to such a beautiful location, in the most glorious part of our country, run by incredible people!
