DANCE BASICS ~ Tuesdays, 4:30 - 5:15pm ~ ALL ages

For beginning & intermediate students. This class teaches the foundations of dance, combining ballet, jazz and theatre dance in a fun and nurturing environment. Class size is limited to 8 students. Taught by Spotlight's choreographer & director, and professional dancer/actor, Meggan Herod.

8-week session starts October 18, 2022   Fee: $80  Students must wear ballet slippers or jazz shoes.

MUSICAL THEATRE WORKSHOP ~ Tuesdays, 5:15 - 6:30pm ~ Ages 8 - 14

Students will explore their creativity through acting and singing, scenes and songs from hit Broadway musicals. All participants will work on song interpretation and presentation. There will be a final presentation for family and friends. Class size is limited to 10 students. This class is taught by Meggan Herod, Spotlight's musical director, Steve Rosenberg.

COMEDY & IMPROV ~ Tuesdays, 6:30 - 7:30pm ~ ages 10 - 16

Back by popular demand! This acting class focuses on comedic timing, story-telling and improvisation. Students work on joke-telling and humorous scene study. Improvisational games allow for creative self expression and FUN! Class size is limited to 10 students. There will be a final presentation for family and friends. This class is taught by Spotlight's artistic director, John Stewart and Meggan Herod.

ADULT ACTING ~ Tuesdays, 7:30 - 9:00pm ~ ages 18 - adult

Also back by popular demand! This acting class is open to all experience levels. Participants will explore the fundementals of acting through monologue work, scene study, improvisation, story-telling and journaling. Class size is limited to 8 actors. There will be a final presentation. This class is taught by Mary Lee Aloia, Meggan Herod and John Stewart.
