ONLINE PERFORMING ARTS CLASSES

6-Week FALL Session, starting the week of October 12, 2020

ACTING FOR FUN! (ages 5 - 7) ~ Mondays, 4:30 - 5:30pm ~ For our youngest performers! Find your creativity through acting, improvisation & saying "YES"! This class with teach the basics of acting! 

Fee: $85 ~ Starting, 10/12 ~ Samantha Schiffman ~ Instructor

ACTING FOR COMMERCIALS (ages 7 - 16) - Tuesdays, 4:30 - 5:30pm ~ Learn the difference between acting for the satge & acting for the camera. Students will work with commercial copy, learning techniques necessary to deliver a message. 

Fee: $85 ~ Starting 10/13 ~ Sal Pavia - Instructor

AUDITION PREP WORKSHOP (ages 12 - 18) - Tuesdays, 5:30 - 7:00pm ~ This class will help prepare young actors for highschool, college, agent & professional theatre auditions.Topics covered include resume prep, audition etiquitte, wardrobe choice, and dealing with audition nerves.

COMEDY & IMPROV (ages 7 - 14) - Tuesdays, 3:30 - 4:30pm  ~ Young actors learn the art of comedy through improvisation, joke-telling & comic timing!

Fee: $85 ~ Starting, 10/13 ~ John Stewart - Instructor, Sophia Rizzo - Assistant

FIND YOUR PERFECT MONOLOGUE & MAKE YOUR REEL (ages 12 - adult) - Mondays, 5:30 - 7:00pm ~ All participants will be given one or two age-appropriate monologues for use for high school, college or professional acting auditions. All participants will have a professional "reel" / recording of their final monologue presentation!

PLAYWRITING INTENSIVE (ages 10 - 18) - Wednesdays, 7:00 - 9:00pm ~ Participants will write their own short play, creating characters, storyline/plot & dialogue. Students will perform eachother's plays for the final class.

Fee: $120 ~ Starting, 10/14 ~ Maria Pedro - Instructor 

BUILD YOUR OWN WEBSITE (ages 12 - adult) ~ Mondays, 7:00 - 8:00pm ~ Learn how to build a website tailored just for you! Participants will learn how to build a custom website under the instruction of Max Joseph, owner of Chips Web Design! 

Fee: $85 ~ Starting 10/12 ~ Max Joseph - Instructor

MUSICAL THEATRE SCENE STUDY (ages 10 - 18) ~ Thursdays, 5:00 - 6:30pm ~ Particpants will perfect their musical theater skill set while working songs & scenes from the Broadway musical, SHREK. Participants will receive a 30 minute private coaching with Robert, in addition to the weekly classes. Final class virtual performance for family & friends, 12/3

Fee: $120 ~ Starting 10/15 ~ Robert Koutras - Instructor
